Richard D. Courtney

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Courtney has served as the Chief Executive Officer of IMTT since 2015. In this role, Mr. Courtney oversees day-to-day operations as well as acquisitions and business development. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Newfoundland Transshipment Limited (NTL) and the Methanol Institute.

Mr. Courtney’s previous responsibilities within IMTT have included budgeting and long-term forecasting, new venture and project analysis, treasury management, and tax planning. Prior to his current role, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Courtney is active in civic and professional organizations, including having served as a member of the Jefferson Parish Business and Industry Committee and as chairman of the New Orleans Society of CPA’s Bank and Bankers Committee. He is a board member for Longue Vue, as well as an active member of the AICPA, Louisiana Society of CPA’s, and a variety of business organizations.

A native of New Orleans, Mr. Courtney attended Louisiana State University where he received his bachelor’s in accounting. Thereafter, he obtained his CPA certificate and joined the New Orleans office of Arthur Andersen & Co.

Heidi Hurst

Chief Operating Officer

Heidi Hurst was selected Chief Operating Officer (COO) of IMTT in early 2020, after serving 15 years in key leadership roles for global integrated and domestic independent oil and gas companies. As the COO, Ms. Hurst is responsible for all aspects of operations at IMTT’s 19 terminals and also oversees the EHS&S, Engineering, and Procurement functions.

Prior to joining IMTT, Ms. Hurst was responsible for the operations of Andeavor’s 165 thousand barrel per day Martinez, California refinery. Other previous senior roles Ms. Hurst held include Senior Manager of Performance Improvement (Martinez Refinery), Tesoro’s Director of Operations Excellence Management System, BP’s Global Downstream Operations Excellence Manager, BP Texas City Operations Manager, and Shell Norco Refining Operations Manager. Ms. Hurst is a member of the board of directors of IMTT.

A native of Louisiana, Ms. Hurst received her BS degree in chemical engineering from Louisiana Tech University. Thereafter, she obtained her Global Executive MBA from St. Mary’s College of California.

Matthew Rosenboom

Chief Financial Officer

Matthew Rosenboom was appointed Chief Financial Officer of IMTT in June 2018, after serving as the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis since 2014.

Prior to joining IMTT, Mr. Rosenboom worked for IMTT’s parent company, Macquarie Infrastructure Corporation (NYSE: MIC) since 2007, where he served as an investment and asset manager across MIC’s Atlantic Aviation, IMTT, Hawaii Gas, and District Energy businesses. He is also a member of IMTT’s board of directors.

Mr. Rosenboom holds a master’s degree in finance from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.

Mike Reed

Chief Commercial Officer

Mike Reed was appointed Chief Commercial Officer of IMTT in April 2019. Mr. Reed has spent a majority of his career in the midstream terminalling space focused mainly on terminals, pipelines, and trading.

Prior to joining IMTT, Mr. Reed was CEO of Pin Oak terminals, establishing greenfield terminal operations on the lower Mississippi River and in Corpus Christi, Texas. Prior to Pin Oak, Mike served as President of LBC’s Americas business. He has held several leadership roles for Kinder Morgan and GATX Terminals including Regional Vice President, and other senior roles with Northville Industries and Trinity Industries. 

Mr. Reed holds a Master of Busines Administration degree from Tulane University and a Bachelor of Science from the Louisiana State University.
